ACCREDITATIONS
Gas Safe Register is the official list of gas engineers who are qualified to work safely and legally on gas appliances. By law, all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register. The Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI as the gas registration body in 2009. The main focus of the register is on improving and maintaining gas safety to the highest standards.
The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting is a leading Certification body accredited by UKAS. Contractors registered by NICEIC are assessed on a regular basis to ensure that they are competent and capable of meeting the relevant technical and safety standards and codes of practice. Contractors registered to NICEIC Building Regulations Schemes in England and Wales are authorised to self-certify their work to the Local Building Control Body.
The SafeContractor scheme provides a health and safety audit service for contractors who want to reassure their clients that health and safety is being handled correctly and sufficiently on their sites.. TrustMark is the Government Endorsed Quality Scheme. When a consumer uses a TrustMark Registered Business, they know they are engaging an organisation that has been thoroughly vetted to meet required standards, and has made a considerable commitment to good customer service, technical competence and trading practises. TrustMark gives consumers increased confidence and choice. Additionally, in the event that a problem does arise, TrustMark offers a range of remedies to give further protection to consumers.
